Burn and Disaster Services Center
This building has a burn unit and trauma center that is nationally recognized. The
burn unit will also service pediatric patients until stable then the patient is transferred
to the Pediatrics building. General Hospital participates in a regional and national
disaster services plan. When a disaster occurs or a disease outbreak happens, this
building functions as a triage center, isolation center, and an overflow building.
