Social Services Building: Worship/Meditation Services, Counseling, Interpreter and Translation Services
Every hospital building has rooms for prayer service and meditation. This building holds formal services for the world’s major religions once a week. General Hospital has partnerships with religious leaders in the community to provide 24 X7 on call spiritual service needs to patients and their families while on campus. This building also houses their offices. Services can take place in this building or any of the hospital buildings on campus.
Full in patient and out patient counseling services are located in this building. Counseling for patients and their families are available 24 X 7, and counselors can be dispatched to any of the hospital campus buildings.
Interpreters and translation services are available 24 X 7. The General Hospital System has instructions and information translated into 20 plus world languages. The hospital utilizes the latest technology to hold video conferences and translation services for their international guests. The hospital maintains a staff of 10 who provide in person services
