Study Abroad
Students who plan to study abroad must be sure that their proposed course of study is properly accredited. Its academic acceptability should be verified by the College before departure. Students also should ascertain in advance from their advisers whether the course work will count toward their majors or related areas or only be regarded as elective. Credit for foreign language study is subject to the approval and recommendation of the Department of Foreign Languages and Literature.
Current information about study abroad programs is generally available from advisers in many college programs and departments including the Center for International Studies and Programs, International Relations, Asian Studies, European Studies, Latin American Studies, Middle East Studies, Biology, Chemistry, Foreign Languages, History and Political Science.
