The President’s Commission on Campus Design and Environment sponsors The University of Toledo’s annual Outdoor Sculpture Exhibition. The sculpture exhibitions enrich the campus life experience, aligning with one of the guiding principles of UToledo’s Multiple Campus Master Plan.
The sculpture collection has been built over many years and features art acquired through a variety of means including rotating exhibits; sculptures purchased through The University of Toledo Foundation and then donated to the institution’s permanent collection; and sculptures acquired through the Ohio Percent for Art Program in collaboration with the Ohio Arts Council, which coordinates the artist selection process.
