Karin L. Coble, Esq., joined the College of Health and Human Services Paralegal faculty as a Lecturer in 2019, teaching Legal Research and Writing and a variety of other courses.  Karin is a licensed attorney in Ohio in private practice, with over 15 years of experience focusing almost exclusively on state court appeals, including cases before the Ohio Supreme Court.  From 2004 to 2010, she worked as a Staff Attorney to Judge William Skow at the Court of Appeals.  

Karin taught philosophy classes as a part-time instructor at the University of Toledo from 1999 to 2010, through law school and during her tenure at the Court of Appeals.  The courses included logic, critical thinking, ethics, and the history of philosophy.  After law school, Karin taught several courses in both philosophy of law and business ethics.

Karin has taught several Continuing Legal Education courses for a variety of groups, including the Toledo Women's Bar Association and the Ohio Association or Criminal Defense Lawyers.
