DX Sesarch Strategies

When you click DX here you arrive at the University of Toledo Carlson Library online catalog display of the entire GR&T DX collection. If you select DX201 you will see those DX books mainly on or about GR&T Peoples in the United States.

DX does not constitute anywhere near the entire Carlson Library collection on or about GR&T Peoples. DX mainly serves the interests of social science and historical scholarship, and is a good place to begin any university library study of GR&T Peoples. Additional GR&T Carlson Library resources are subject-categorized as fiction, fine arts, linguistics, music, government documents, reference, and etc. These items are shelved or housed elsewhere than with the DX materials.

One strategy for locating these scattered other-than-DX books and materials using the UToledo Library Catalog is to click the "SUBJECT" box and search under "Romanies." A better strategy might be to consult the following bibliographies for GR&T items of interest, and then conduct "AUTHOR" or "TITLE" searches for them in a university or public library. Don't forget: The UT Carlson Library is a lending library from which you can borrow books from distant locations through interlibrary loan systems. Good Luck in your DX search!
