BLS Skills - Med Students (MS1's)

Location: Unless otherwise designated, the location will be in the Lloyd Jacobs Interprofessional Immersive Simulation Center on the UT Health Science Campus (2920 Transverse Dr, Toledo Ohio)
This course is a combined online and skills course specifically for Medical Students of the University of Toledo.
Third Year medical students of the University of Toledo, and any others approved by the UT Life Support Director.
Students must successfully complete the Heartcode BLS course online thru www.elearning.heart.org and must bring the printed certificate of completion to this skill session.
Successful completion of the online Heartcode BLS course and satisfactory demonstration of required BLS skills (Adult chest compressions, AED operation, use of BVM, Infant 1 & 2 person CPR, Infant Airway Obstruction)
No materials are necessary. The student must complete an online course that has all necessary information contained within.
Fees for all students for this skill session is $ 24.00. The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in all AHA courses and has developed instructional materials for this purpose. Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the AHA. Any fees charged for such a course, except for a portion of fees needed for AHA course materials, do not represent income to the AHA.
