Location: Unless otherwise specified, this course will be held in the Lloyd Jacobs Immersive Simulation Center / Creative Center for Education on the Health Science Campus (2920 Transverse Dr, Toledo, OH 43614).

This is a class specifically established for medical students in preparation for various clerkships that require ACLS.

Prior experience and education in Cardiac Pharmacology & EKG Interpretation is strongly recommended for success. Also, participants must complete the 2025 ACLS Precourse Self Assessment and Video Prework Course (refer to your confirmation letter - or contact our office if you have questions!).

Participants must complete all required precourse work and must successfully perform all of the required ACLS skills. Participants must also obtain a minimum of 84% on the ACLS written examination. Participants are allowed one opportunity for a retest of the written exam (using an alternative version of the exam) within 30 days of the initial exam.

Participants must obtain the most current ACLS Provider (2025 guidelines). For COMLS students, books may be borrowed by contacting the COMLS office.
