ACLS for PA Students

Date: 5/14/2026  •  Time: 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM;
Location: The skill class location is in the Simulation Center on the UT Health Science Campus.

This course is established specifically for the PA students of the University of Toledo.
Participants will attend a lecture presentation, complete the required online course, and then attend a skill session. The course is designed to provide the knowledge and skills needed to evaluate and initially manage a cardiac arrest or other cardiac emergencies.

Students enrolled in the University of Toledo's PA Program, and any other participants approved by the Life Support Program Director.

Prior experience and education in Cardiac Pharmacology & EKG Interpretation is strongly recommended for success. Also, participants must complete the 2025 ACLS Precourse Self Assessment and Video Prework Course (refer to your confirmation letter - or contact our office if you have questions!).

- Complete the Precourse Assessment and Precourse Work course and,
- Satisfactory performance as a team leader in a hands-on cardiac scenario and demonstration of sufficient knowledge of ACLS algorithms.
-Post written examination of 84% minimum.

Participants must obtain the most current ACLS Provider (2025 guidelines). Non-Employees may purchase a textbook thru shopcpr.heart.org. The text may be used as a reference during the written exam at the end of the course.
