Student Life
Students in the Department of Art participate in many events and special activities throughout the year. The UT Art Student League is a main way to stay in touch with what's happening in the department. On their Facebook page, students can find information on upcoming events: including, social gatherings, job opportunities, important dates, and much more. Their purpose is twofold; to strengthen the quality of art majors’ experiences and provide an outlet for majors and non-majors interested in art.
It's about taking a risk; following another path; experimenting and failing-and trying again; sharing ideas; building friendships; mentorship; giving it your all; making it through the tough times; the rush of succeeding; that's what IT is.
