Mona KennedyMrs. Mona Bahouth-Kennedy is a visiting Assistant Professor at UT.  She earned her Master’s Degree in ESL from the English Department at the University of Toledo in 2001. In Lebanon, Mrs. Kennedy co-authored English in Progress, an English Language textbook for grade 4, used in public schools there. In the United States, Mrs. Kennedy taught English courses at Owens Community College as a full time faculty for twelve years. While there, in 2013, she was chosen as a Faculty Fellow in Connect-to-Complete program, funded by Campus Compact, a national higher education association that encourages campuses to develop students’ citizenship skills and involvement in their community.  In 2013, she received an Excellence Award from Owens Community College president for her work with Compass Compact and contributions to Connect-to-Complete Program. Mrs. Kennedy was a Certified Peer Reviewer for online courses in Quality Matters Organization for the years 2009-2014.  She is also a board member and Corresponding Secretary for The Association of Two Toledos (Toledo, Spain & Toledo, Ohio).
