Scholarships
Applications for undergraduate scholarships for academic year 2022-23 are now open. The deadline for applications is March 1, 2022 and you must file an application to be considered, even if you have received a department scholarship previously. The application will also include you in consideration for certain college scholarships for which you may be eligible.
The department scholarship committee is usually able to grant a total of 15-18 scholarships and while these vary in amount, they average around $1000 in value. While some scholarships have specific criteria established by the original donor, many are primarily decided on the basis of overall and political science GPA and all political science majors are strongly encouraged to apply. The application will only take you a few minutes to complete and can be found at http://www.utoledo.edu/financialaid/scholarships/webforms/CALSchapp.html.
