Office of Professional Experience Programs

The Office of Professional Experience Programs administers and coordinates transcript-recognized experiential education programs for the entire University community. The program offers undergraduate and graduate students the opportunity to work in jobs directly related to their career fields while they are pursuing their degrees.

The program offers opportunities in internships, parallel projects, and cooperative education. Students can register with the program during their freshman year. However, they are not eligible to apply for positions until they reach sophomore status and maintain a 2.5 cumulative GPA. Office of Accessibility

For students with disabilities, the Office of Accessibility offers assistance and a variety of services in compliance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act. The University of Toledo provides aids such as note taker and reader services, enlargement of materials, oral/sign language interpreters, braille transcription, special examination procedures, tutoring and counseling services, and mobility and registration assistance.
