How to Get Your Textbooks
It is not guaranteed that all classes will have inclusive course materials that are covered by the course fess. If you don’t have an inclusive access fee assessed on your account, that means that you need to purchase the book on your own.
To search for your course materials, go to UToledo's Official Bookstore.
When you search for your course materials, it will tell you if there is an option for an e-book. If there is not an e-book available through the bookstore, you can use the ISBN number for the book to search on other websites for the book. You may also be able to access your textbooks through the Carlson Library’s electronic resources. For more information about that service, visit University Libraries Textbooks LibGuide.
If your class requires that you purchase a textbook, we strongly encourage you to reach out to the instructor and explain the situation and ask for assistance in finding the book. The instructor may be aware of other options for obtaining an e-book, such as directly from the publisher.
