About University Health Center
At UToledo we have you covered for healthcare and healthcare insurance. Students who are registered for at least one semester hour are eligible to utilize services at the University Health Center on Main Campus.

When you need quality, affordable healthcare, we are here on campus to serve your needs. Make an appointment and remember to bring an official picture ID, your medical history, insurance information and a method of payment for any cash charges that may occur.
Health Insurance Plan
Beginning fall semester 2020, UToledo automatically enrolls students in the University-sponsored student health plan.
UToledo is pleased to offer undergraduate and graduate students health insurance through the Student Health Plan. Students have the opportunity to opt-out by providing documentation of existing healthcare coverage, and the premium will be removed from their student account.
The University Health Center provides third-party billing and is a provider for many health insurance companies. If you opt-out of the Student Health Plan at UToledo, you must sign a waiver in the MyUT portal prior to the tuition/fee deadline to avoid plan fees. Go to the Student tab in the MyUT portal, and click on "Health Insurance" under "My Registration Steps."
Keep in mind, your health is essential to achieving academic success. The University of Toledo offers you easy access to a full line of health services and a healthcare insurance plan that provides excellent coverage.
