 Facilities

The Carver Resource Center, located in Gillham Hall 3000, houses two computer labs using both platforms of computers: Macintosh (Mac OS X) and Dell (Windows XP).  Each computer lab contains seating for twenty-four, state of the art equipment using Elmo machines (document cameras) and smart boards. Video conferencing is also available.  Along with housing the computer labs, five individual classroom mobile carts are available for classroom use.

Services

The Center provides the following services available for all Education majors:

• Equipment checkout (laptops both Dell and Macintosh), digital cameras, camcorders, voice recorders, LCD projectors, tripods, mice, speakers, and headphones)
• Color Printing
• Curriculum Materials Checkout
• Ellison dies (die cuts used for preparing bulletin boads, name tags, etc)
• Free Flass Drive distribution
• Lamination Services
• Open Lab computer Access
• Technology support for classroom-related needs, including tutorials and special technology-related workshops for students, faculty, and staff
• Video editing equipment and stations
• Wireless computer Access
