Administrative Principal Licensure added to a completed educational Master’s Degree
Education professionals who already have a Master’s degree (e.g., in reading, a content area, special education, etc.) and two years of teaching experience under a standard teaching license may complete the following courses to be eligible for Ohio Administrative Principal Licensure. Candidates should meet with an EDAS faculty advisor to determine if previous coursework may be counted toward licensure requirements, or to explore other advanced degree options.
Students who take this route may apply for admission through “Special Student Status” and do not have to be admitted to a degree program.
