Degrees, Licensure, and Endorsements

Administration of Programs
All graduate programs are administered jointly by the college and the College of Graduate Studies. Students may contact the specific department, the college, or the Graduate School for further information on programs or admission requirements.

Click on the following link to get information on the Licensure Alternative Master's Program (LAMP).  LAMP is a program designed expressly for holder's of a bachelor's degree who want to teach.  LAMP combines teacher licensure with a master's degree.  The master's degree is optional.

Undergraduate Degree Programs
Fast Track Early Childhood Bachelor’s Degree Program  (degree only)

Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood Education  (degree and license, or degree-only)

Fremont Cohort - a collaboration with Terra Community College

Bachelor of Education in Special Education/Intervention Specialist (degree and license)

Bachelor of Education in Physical Education  - Note: The Physical Education license program is not admitting any new students after July 2011.  If students are interested in Physical Education, they should speak with the Health Education program regarding a collaborative agreement with Bowling Green State University, where students can seek dual licenses in Health Education (from UT) and Physical Education (from BGSU).

Education Specialist (EdS) programs are completed in collaboration with the department of Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration  in the following:

• EdS Curriculum and Instruction: Early Childhood Education

Doctoral Degree Programs
Doctoral programs are completed in collaboration with the department of Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in the following:

• Doctor of Philosophy in Curriculum and Instruction: Early Childhood Education
• Doctor of Philosophy in Curriculum and Instruction: Special Education
• Doctor of Philosophy in Curriculum and Instruction: Gifted and Talented Education

Endorsement / Certificate Programs (to be added to a current teaching license)

Transition to work endorsement

On-line program. Can be added to an Intervention Specialist license. - contact Dr. Devlin

Preschool special needs endorsement

On-line program. Can be added to an Intervention Specialist license.- contact Dr. Dinnebeil

Early intervention certificate (Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities)

On-line program. May be added to a degree in education or a related area/degree- contact Dr. Dinnebiel

Emotional disturbance certificate
