Graduated from Pottstown, PA Medical Center as an RN. Attended the University of Pennsylvania, graduated from Mary Manse College with a BSN degree, and also graduated from UT with M.Ed. and Ed.S. degrees. Served on active duty in the Navy Nurse Corps for nine years. Retired from St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center as a Nursing Instructor and also retired from the Toledo Board of Education as a Nursing Instructor and as Interim Director of the PN Program. Life member of the UT Alumni Association.
