    PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The Master’s and Education Specialist degrees in Curriculum and Instruction offer rigorous, but flexible programs, allowing the student to focus on particular areas of interest, such as English/language arts, reading, science, mathematics, social studies, or other areas.

Both an Ed.D. and Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction are offered.

    OF SPECIAL INTEREST
Students who hold a bachelor’s degree in a field other than education should consider LAMP (Licensure & Alternative Master’s Program), which is offered via a special Master’s Program in Secondary Education.

    CURRICULUM INFORMATION

    1. The Master’s Degree in Secondary Education is a 30-hour program.
    2. The Education Specialist Degree requires 32 hours of course work beyond the Master’s Degree.
    3. The Ed.D. and Ph.D. programs have an impressive track record for placing students in research and teaching positions in colleges and universities, school districts, and state agencies.

    INTERNAL ADMISSIONS DEADLINES
    Admission are ongoing.
