Judith Herb College of Education Scholarships
To be eligible for a scholarship award for the 2009-2010 academic year, you must complete the application and furnish a supporting letter (from an education professional such as a high school teacher or principal, college professor or advisor) by Friday, March 6, 2009. This application form is only for scholarships awarded by the Judith Herb College of Education. (Please note that if you were previously awarded a renewable scholarship that could be renewed, you must reapply for the year 2009-2010. Please note that while a small number of scholarships are renewed automatically when a student continues to qualify and when funds are available, most are not automatically renewable. Whether or not your current scholarship is renewable, you must reapply to be considered for an award for next year.
Given current economic conditions, we regret that publication of the booklet listing all the available scholarships has been delayed. I encourage you to visit the Judith Herb College of Education website on a weekly basis, beginning in mid-January, to obtain scholarship updates. Please not that if you wish to apply for a University of Toledo scholarship that is administered outside the JHCOE, you must follow procedures required for those scholarships. The Office of Student Financial Aid maintains a binder detailing all University scholarships. Feel free to visit their office (1200 Rocket Hall) for assistance or check out their web site at www.financialaid.utoledo.edu/scholar.html.
To apply for a Judith Herb College of Education Scholarship please complete the following.

- Review the scholarship criteria booklet when it is published and complete the eligibility checklist.
