Type of Work Student Will Perform Work closely with civil rights attorneys and staff on a variety of assignments and special projects which may include conducting legal and policy research on laws governing civil rights and education, drafting legal memoranda and responses to public inquiries, reviewing and commenting on the Department’s and other agencies’ draft regulations and guidance, and assisting in developing and drafting non-regulatory substantive guidance.
