Geology

Geology is the scientific study of the Earth, including the materials that it is made of, the physical and chemical processes that occur on its surface, and in its interior, and the history of the planet and its life forms.

Environmental Studies

Environmental studies is concerned with the legal, economic, social and ethical methods of solving the challenging issues that affect environmental quality, including air, water and soil pollution, climate change and the preservation of biological diversity. Students pursuing such studies will elect an area of concentration in one of the humanities or social sciences – most often Geography and Planning, Political Science and Public Administration, or Economics.
