UToledo's graduate certificate tracks are ideal for nurses who have a current master's or doctor of nursing practice degree and want to expand their practice with an education from the leader in advanced practice nursing in northwest Ohio.

Family Nurse Practitioner Graduate Certificate

The Family Nurse Practitioner Graduate Certificate is offered to individuals who have completed a master's degree in nursing or doctorate in nursing practice, and who desire to obtain specialized knowledge to seek certification as an FNP. 

Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Graduate Certificate

The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Graduate Certificate is offered to individuals who have completed a master’s degree in nursing or doctorate in nursing practice and who desire to obtain specialized knowledge to seek certification as a PMHNP.

Advanced Pharmacotherapeutics (3 credit hours)
PMHNP students must also take Psychopharmacology (2 credit hours)

Fall
NURS XXXX: CLIN 2 Lecture (3 credit hours)
NURS XXXX: Practicum 2 (240 clinical hours) (4 credit hours)

Spring
NURS XXXX: CLIN 3 Lecture (2 credit hours)
NURS XXXX: Practicum 3 (300 clinical hours) (5 credit hours)
NURS 6650:
Transition to Practice (1 credit hour) not applicable for current APRN's
