University Marketing and Communications

The Office of University Marketing and Communications promotes The University of Toledo by telling our story and protecting and enhancing our brand. We engage internal and external stakeholders through strategic storytelling, creative design, insightful marketing and compelling photography and video. Our job is to enhance the reputation of the University and to equip administrators, faculty, staff and students with the information they need to serve as ambassadors for UT.

The marketing and communications team supports the objectives of the University and is focused on supporting UT President Sharon L. Gaber’s calls to action:

  • Raise UT’s national standing
  • Increase enrollment, retention and student preparedness
  • Increase externally funded research
  • Increase philanthropy and fundraising
  • Ensure a UT education remains affordable by reducing administrative costs
  • The UT marketing and communications experts base their work on best practices and dedication to our stakeholders.
