Web Support Request

The web team provides support for webpage updates. You provide the details - new text, images, changes - we do the work. 

We care about web accessibility and user experience, so all PDF, doc and other files will be reviewed before adding to the website. We also do the extra work of removing duplicate and outdated files to ensure visitors do not find old content.  

Most updates are completed within a work week, unless we have follow up questions, brand review, proofing needed or the request requires reorganization of page(s). 

University Marketing and Communications manages the utoledo.edu, health.utoledo.edu websites and can facilitate updates to myUT.utoledo.edu tabs and online.utoledo.edu website. 

University marketing does not manage websites outside the content management system including Blackboard, Scholars, IT-managed websites (you typically see text ahead of the utoledo.edu or require single sign on to access).

Access Request

Requests to update web content on University utoledo.edu website is reviewed by the web manager for requested web pages. Typically Omni accounts are only granted to someone who has ongoing management and oversight of webpages. If only occasional updates needed you should reach out to the web manager or submit a website update request detailing the update needed. 

Access is not given to health.utoledo.edu. All updates should be submitted via Web Support Request or working directly with Catharine Harned, marketing specialist for UToledo Health. 

If Omni account approved, you will need to complete web accessibility training assigned by Human Resources. 

Accounts unused for six months or more, or users not following University policies, University brand, accessibility compliance will be removed. 

NOTE - getting an account can take a couple weeks. If you have immediate updates, please provide via Web Support Request.
