DeMya served on Council from 2018 to 2021.
DeMya is currently a Success Coach who works with our student-athletes, Nursing, and Criminal Justice Social Work students within the College of Health and Human Services. He received his B.A. in sociology from the University of Findlay in 1994, and currently serves as the president of the alumni association at Findlay. DeMya began working at The University of Toledo in 2014 after 17.5 years at the Lucas County Juvenile Court. DeMya and his wife Lisa have three children, two of which are University of Toledo graduates along with one grandchild. DeMya’s passions are students, instruction, and fishing.
