President:
The President is the chief officer; official spokesperson for the Upward Bound student body; and fulfills other duties as assigned by the Upward Bound Administration.
Vice President:
The Vice President is second in command; assists the President in setting the agenda for the year; and fulfills other duties as assigned by the Upward Bound Administration.
Treasurer:
The Treasurer keeps records of any money received and/or dispersed by student government; leads fundraising activities; and fulfills other duties as assigned by the Upward Bound Administration.
Secretary:
The Secretary is the officials record keeper and correspondence officer; takes and keeps minutes of meetings; designs flyers; takes conference reports; and fulfills other duties as assigned by the Upward Bound Administration.
Class Representative:
The Class Representatives represents the interest of their class to the executive staff and reports directly to the Vice President.
Requirements:
· 70% Active Participation.
· Presidential
candidates must have a minimum of one year Upward Bound experience.
· A speech
stating your platform must be written and presented to the student body
· Preparation
for a political forum/debate following the platform speeches.

Elections are held yearly, current UB Students may express their interest to run for office to a program administrator for more information.
