Dr. Dargart was born and raised in Toledo. After graduating Summa cum laude from the University of Dayton with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, she attended medical school at Case Western Reserve School of Medicine, from which she graduated with honors. She then moved to Chicago to complete her residency in General Pediatrics and fellowship in Pediatric Hematology, Oncology, and Stem Cell Transplantation at Children’s Memorial Hospital (now Lurie Children’s Hospital), affiliated with Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. After completion of her training, she returned to Toledo in 2011 to practice at ProMedica Russell J. Ebeid Children’s Hospital.

Clinical Focus

Dr. Dargart’s special interests include treating children, adolescents and young adults with cancer and participation in clinical trials for children with cancer. Dr. Dargart serves as Principal Investigator for the Children's Oncology Group (COG) at ProMedica Russell J. Ebeid Children's Hospital. PRJECH is the only children's cancer center in Northwest Ohio to participate in COG, the world's largest organization devoted exclusively to pediatric cancer research.
