Virtual Accuplacer Testing
The Accuplacer test is a free, untimed test offered by UToledo. The test helps us make admission decisions for CCP and place you in the correct classes.
- Testing is virtual. (If you don't have access to a computer or the internet, you can arrange in-person testing on campus.)
- Covers three subject areas: Reading, Advanced Algebra and Functions, and Writing
- Typically takes about 1.5 hours to complete
WHO NEEDS TO TAKE AN ACCUPLACER TEST?
- If you have an unweighted GPA between 2.5 and 2.75, UToledo requires that you have minimum test scores on either the ACT, SAT or Accuplacer tests for admission to the College Credit Plus program.
- If you don’t have qualifying scores on the ACT or SAT, you should take the Accuplacer test before you apply to UToledo.
Check CCP admission requirements for minimum qualifying scores.
HOW TO TAKE virtual ACCUPLACER tests
1. Schedule virtual testing.
Call 419.530.4200 or email ccpadmission@utoledo.edu to schedule. Include your full name, date of birth and phone number. We will need that information to generate the testing voucher.
2. Check your email.
We will send you testing dates and times that are available. Let us know which one works best for you. We will then confirm testing and send you a calendar invitation with testing directions.
You will need:
- A computer with a microphone and webcam
- A photo ID
- A calculator is supplied within the test.
You will receive test results the same day or the day after testing.
