Rocket Transition

We are so excited for you to join us as a rocket transfer student!

As a part of preparing for your first semester, you will work with our Neff COBI academic advisors to register for your upcoming courses. To make sure you are ready to do so, please complete the steps below.

Before Registering for Your Classes:

Take the ALEKS math placement test. Testing information can be found on the math department website. All Neff COBI students must take the ALEKS math placement test unless they meet one of the exceptions below.

- Any student with transfer credit for a college level math course
- Any student with a 20 or higher ACT or a 520 or higher SAT math score

Complete the Rocket Transition Next Steps Survey. As a transfer student, we’ll need to know a bit more information about you and your goals before we can recommend courses. To get started with that process, complete the Next Steps Survey.

Send us your ACT/SAT scores. If you meet one of the placement test exceptions, but you did not submit your test scores and/or your final transcripts with your admissions application, please email an unofficial copy to cobiadvising@utoledo.edu or upload it to your Next Steps Survey so we can place you in the correct courses.

Send UToledo your official College Credit Plus (CCP) transcript. Once your final grades are posted for your last semester at your transfer institution, you must send UToledo a final copy of your transcripts. A registration hold will be placed on your record for future semesters until these are received. Electronic transcripts must be requested from the college/university that offered the course and can be sent to admprocessing@utoledo.edu.

Setup your UTAD username and password. You will need these to access the registration portal and your Rockets email.
