Our Business Careers Program Office (BCP) is here to help — they offer guidance for your internship, co-op and career search. The Office connects students with local, national and global companies to complete internships and co-ops in order to obtain real-world work experience while earning course credit.

How will an internship Impact my career?

  • Connects classroom work with real-world application to provide experiential learning opportunities.
  • Provides networking opportunities to build valuable professional connections before you graduate.
  • Build skills outside of your chosen major and field - learn to conduct yourself in a professional manner while collaborating with colleagues.
  • Recruiters often find full-time employees through their internship programs.
  • Determine if the company is the right for you as you progress in your career.

Career Advice from fellow business rockets

Erin Morris

"I would urge students to take advantage of everything that the college offers. Do not be afraid to start young and involve yourself. You are here to make a professional career, so use everything you can to make sure you are on the right track. Also utilize both your advisor and Business Career Programs as much as you can. They want to help you succeed, and will do whatever to make sure you do!"

Madison Curl

"The Neff College of Business and Innovation taught me so many things. Thanks to the college I know the importance of networking, asking questions, dressing professionally, getting involved in the community and developing my personal brand. All of these things will help me not only in my professional life but in sales specifically."

Justin Chavis

"I selected The University of Toledo Neff College of Business and Innovation because I noticed the career programs office and events that they hold strictly for the business students. Most colleges don’t have that and have a general career service office for the university. Those events and the personal one-on-one help stood out to me because they better prepared me for future opportunities.

Tanijah Kynard

"The Neff College of Business and Innovation is the reason I earned my job through the multiple networking events such as mock interviews  and career fair. I was able to talk to my employer multiple times at these events and that is how I received the job. The college helped me with my presentation and research skills. Everything I have learned in the four years here I hope to apply in my position."
