Ebola Virus Disease (EVD)
The University of Toledo Medical Center is following the CDC's recommendations on the Ebola Virus Disease (EVD). An all hazards approach, using the Incident Command System, has been established based on existing emergency preparedness plans and procedures for infectious disease agents. While EVD is a very different biological agent it can be controlled and managed through proper procedures and strict adherence to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) set forth by the CDC.
