Various types of finishing details can be added to enhance the look and functionality of final printed models (at additional costs).
- Surface Smoothing/Texture - Various processes can be used to add surface texture effects to model. Smoothing
can reduce and in some cases eliminating surface imperfections resulting in a substantially
smoother surface quality. Texture can be added to enhance the tactablity or descriptablity
of an object.
- Painting - Airbrushing or hand-painting of models can provide the finishing touches that enhance
the model aesthetics to appear more life-like in detail. Enhancing of printable or
the addition of non-printable details.
- Base Mounting - Mounting for display of the final printed model (either pre-print or post-print).
