Cardiology Fellowship Programs

CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASE PROGRAM:

We offer 2 positions each year in our three-year Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship, which primarily emphasizes clinical cardiology. During the three-year fellowship, UT provides a comprehensive educational program including inpatient and outpatient clinical experiences; training in the Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology Laboratories; as well as Nuclear Cardiology, Echocardiography (including transesophageal echo), cardiac rehabilitation, cardiothoracic surgery, congenital and pediatric cardiology,  with dedicated research time for generating a research proposal or writing up a case report. Applications are accepted through ERAS.

Deadline for application is August 1, 2013 for positions beginning July 1, 2014.

INTERVENTIONAL CARDIOLOGY PROGRAM:

Ehab Eltahawy, MD MD – Associate Program Director

One position is available each year in our Interventional Cardiology Fellowship. During this one-year program, fellows will be trained in coronary, structural cardiac and peripheral vascular interventional procedures. Applications are accepted through ERAS.

Deadline for application is December 31, 2013 for positions beginning July 1, 2015.
