The overall mission of the Center for Hypertension and Precision Medicine is to promote interdisciplinary research and further current knowledge, education and public awareness in the field of cardiovascular disease in general, with emphasis on hypertension and associated vascular and metabolic diseases.

The administrative core of CHPM consists of the Director, Dr. Bina Joe, the Associate Director, Dr. Guillermo Vazquez, and the Clinical Director, Dr. Lance Dworkin.

Scientists affiliated to CHPM conform a multidisciplinary team of basic and clinical investigators with expertise in genomics, vascular, cardiac and renal physiology, metabolism and neurosciences.
