The recent $765 million settlement between the NFL and players is a win-win for both
sides, according to Rapp. The NFL hopes to put concussions behind it and move back
to the business on the field while the players obtain a sizable payout, resources
for education and a moral victory. Rapp published a paper titled Suicide, Concussions and the NFL in the Florida International University Law Review.
