Graduate Programs

Overview

Graduate students in the Experimental Therapeutics doctoral program at The University of Toledo conduct cutting-edge research into new drug treatments for disease.

The Ph.D. program in UToledo's nationally ranked College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences focuses on Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics.

Learn about human disease — from the molecular level to the whole organism — and develop rational approaches for new pharmacological therapies. Our goal is for our doctoral students to translate their discoveries in the laboratory to therapies in a clinical setting.

Pharm.D./Ph.D. Dual Degree Program

In addition to our Ph.D. program in Experimental Therapeutics, we also offer a dual degree program for those who want to earn both their Ph.D. and Pharm.D. degrees.
