The Power To Do
Begins with Accessibility

The Digital Accessibility Hub is your go-to source relating to what you need to know and how to accomplish the goal of creating digital accessibility.

What is Digital Accessibility?

Digital is the ability of a website, social media, mobile application or electronic document to be easily navigated and understood by a wide range of users, including those users who have visual, auditory, motor or cognitive disabilities.

Why is Digital Accessibility Important?

Digital accessibility ensures equal access to information, learning, and participation for all members of our community. It promotes inclusion, reduces barriers, and helps organizations meet legal, ethical, and usability standards while reaching a broader audience.

Accessible design benefits all users by improving clarity, usability, and flexibility across digital platforms. By embedding accessibility into our practices, we create a stronger, more inclusive academic community.

What is considered Digital Material?

Digital content includes, but is not limited to, online courses, instructional materials, documents, email and attachments, videos, websites, and any third-party tools or platforms used for teaching, learning, or university business.
