GUIDELINES FOR DUAL MAJORS

If you are a dual major in different areas of the Department – Studio Art, Art History, Art Education – it is possible for you to apply for a scholarship in each area. While multiple applications are possible, it is rare that an individual will receive duplicate awards from each of the areas. However, it does increase your chances of receiving an award in any one area. Following are the steps that you need to follow in making dual applications if you are a dual-major:

  • You must be officially declared as major in each area.
  • You must fill out separate applications for each area in which you are applying and follow the specific procedures for each application.
  • You must identify yourself as a dual major on the application(s).
