Scholarships
There are several scholarships for political science majors available. You'll need to file a FAFSA annually to be considered, even if you have received a department scholarship previously. Doing so will also add you for consideration for other college scholarships for which you may be eligible.
The department scholarship committee is usually able to grant a total of 15-18 scholarships. While these vary in amount, they average around $1000 in value. While some scholarships have specific criteria established by the original donor, many are primarily decided on overall and political science GPA. All political science majors are strongly encouraged to apply. More information about our scholarships can be found at the UToledo scholarship portal. Use "political science" as your search words and you will see details about each of our scholarships.
