The University of Toledo is the ideal place to study theatre and/or film. Here, you'll earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre or a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film from a University that you can be proud of. The University of Toledo is fully accredited by the National Association of Schools of Theatre (NAST). This means that our Theatre and Film degree programs and faculty have met requirements of structure, scope and competency essential for these degree programs. 

We also offer two minors degree in Film (Cinema Studies & Film/Video), and two minors in Theatre (Theatre Arts, and Stage and Screen Performance). Below are the requirements for all of our degree programs, plus course descriptions, and a sample plan of study for each of the 4-year degree programs.

Several scholarships are available to you when you study Theatre and Film at the University of Toledo. We also help you go beyond our campus environment to engage in internships and study abroad experiences that enrich your college experience, provide you with valuable contacts and better prepare you for your career in the arts.
