Mr. Steve Dunbar

Steve Dunbar has been a member of the Dunbar team since 1966. He started as a truck driver and held a wide variety of positions until assuming the role of president in September of 1986 and Chief Executive Officer in January of 2000. Over the years Steve's initial role with the company has expanded, and he has enjoyed extensive experience serving as Design/Build Engineer, Vice President of Design/Build, Vice President of Operations and President.

Through Steve's knowledge of the operational aspects of the mechanical contracting industry, coupled with his diverse knowledge of the area's work force, Dunbar Mechanical has grown to be northwest Ohio's pre-eminent mechanical contractor, not only in size but in the wide variety of capabilities that qualify Dunbar as a full-service mechanical contractor. In addition to Dunbar Mechanical, Steve also has regional responsibility for two other mechanical related construction firms in Cincinnati.

Steve was born in 1947 and is married with two children. He is an active member of the Toledo Rotary, and Toledo Country Club. Steve has chaired ASHRAE, Toledo Organization for Management, the Young Presidents Organization and the local chapter of the Mechanical Contractors' Association. He is a past instructor for the Institute of Project Management at the University of Texas. Steve has served on the board of the University of Toledo's Alumni Association as well as past Chairman of the UT Hole-In-One Event. He presently serves on the St. Luke's Hospital Board of Trustees, on the Local 50 Health and Welfare Board of Trustees, and a board member of the Northwest Ohio MCA.
