research interests

My research primarily has focused on economic development, poverty alleviation, and social justice in low-income countries and marginalized communities.  This includes work in Central America, South Asia, and the Middle East.  My current research interests include activism in the US to address issues related to global justice.

I also am the Editor-in-Chief of Perspectives on Global Development and Technology.
