Mike S. DuBose (Ph.D. Bowling Green State University in American Culture Studies) teaches composition and literature classes for the department. He is also a media scholar who has presented his work at international conferences. His scholarly publications include articles in Television and New Media, Reconstruction, Academic Apartheid and The Chronicle of Higher Education. Mike's main areas of research interest include critical television studies and the application of complexity theory to the study of popular culture. He is also a musician who performs under the name TheMikeDuBose, and he currently has two albums available.
