Biography
Tiantian Liang is a pianist, organist, and harpsichordist and educator whose work brings together performance, scholarship and advocacy. An active solo and collaborative artist, she has appeared in recital and as a guest performer at universities, festivals and concert series throughout the United States and Europe. Her programs champion contemporary music alongside works by women and historically underrepresented composers, reflecting a commitment to expanding and enriching the keyboard repertoire.
Equally active as a scholar, Tiantian presents lecture-recitals and conference sessions that examine keyboard repertoire, pedagogy and artistic practice. Her research and performances have been featured at national and regional conferences, where she explores the connection between performance, teaching and inclusive programming. In addition to her concert work, she serves as a translator for the Frances Clark Center, supporting international engagement in keyboard pedagogy through bilingual translation.
Liang serves as piano faculty at the University of Toledo, OH. She holds a Doctor of Musical Arts in Piano Performance from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, with additional study at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, Rice University Shepherd School of Music and Concordia College.
