Lab Goal

The overall goal of my laboratory is to understand the pathophysiology of myocardial infarction, acute kidney injury, and cardio-renal syndromes. We are focused on the role of heme proteins and heme clearance pathways in these disease processes.  I also perform clinical research on percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), peripheral vascular disease (PVD), and pulmonary embolism (PE) outcomes.
