Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Unity Day Celebration
The University of Toledo, in collaboration with the City of Toledo and its Human Relations Commission, will celebrate the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with the 25th annual Unity Day Celebration on Monday, Jan. 19, 2026.
UToledo President James Holloway and Toledo Mayor Wade Kapszukiewicz will welcome participants to the virtual program featuring reflections and artistic performances aligned with this year’s theme, “Our Story, Our Strength.”
These include a keynote interview with Bishop Robert A. Culp.
The virtual program will be available beginning at 10 a.m.
