The Power To Do at UToledo Health

Hello Rockets,

I am excited to celebrate the launch of our new brand for The University of Toledo — The Power To Do.

This new brand identity brings together our academic and healthcare missions under the same marketing framework for the first time since UToledo merged with the former Medical College of Ohio. We are stronger together and the transformational impact we have on the students we graduate and the patients we care for should be celebrated with a shared Rocket pride.

Our midnight blue and gold colors remain an important part of our UToledo identity, but you will see new magenta and teal accents in our marketing materials. Our people also remain the focus of our storytelling as we highlight our faculty experts, successful students and alumni, and dedicated staff members who demonstrate the power of our teaching, research and care.

You will see a change in how we talk about our clinical enterprise as we embrace UToledo Health as the framework for all our healthcare operations that take place at any location, including the University of Toledo Medical Center, a UT Physicians clinic or by a UToledo doctor at another facility. We are one UToledo Health team.

One of my favorite lines in our new creative materials is: “At The University of Toledo, we’re shaping the next generation of doers. Those who dare to do what others only dream.” That is who we are as Rockets. We get things done.
