Dear Rocket Nation:
This is always a special time of year: over the summer most of our students have been away from campus, faculty have been focused on their research, and many of our staff have been hard at work getting our campus ready for a new fall term. Of course, in our health system our caregivers have been tireless in providing essential care and treatments to our patients in support of our friends and neighbors across the region.
But now, our students are back on campus. They’ve moved into residence halls, reengaged with their friends and started classes.
At this special time in the life of a university, I would like to take a moment to thank each of you for the amazing work that you do, and for the important impact you have on our city and region. Together, we are the University for Toledo. Thank you.
And just for a light-hearted moment as we start the serious work of the fall semester, feel free to enjoy this video that we made for our students.
